when i try to open and repair my Word Document, all the list styles are corrupted. Some of the styles lose their numbering. another Error I notice is - If i have a style with list numbering as "XXX-1" , "XXX-1.1" , "XXX-1.1.1"

I am having trouble with the printing of the instralled text watermarks. The word "Project", for instance, shows up in its entirety in the print preview. When I actually print, owever, I only wind up with "P O E T", for example. (Is this poeteic justice?) I've tried

I'm writing a manual for users for our upgrade to Word 2003 (from Word 97). Can anyone help me with a simple explanation of the difference between 'final showing markup' and 'original showing markup' in track changes? As far as I can see they do the same thing. Any explanation

I have a long document (several thousand pages) that has heads using Heading Style 1 through Heading Style 5. I would like to apply a style to the body text between Heading 2 and Heading 3. Is there a way to set up a Find/Replace to do that for me?

I've been trying for ages to get round this problem - can anyone help? Some of our docs have a mixture of paragraphs with heading 1 and heading 2 styles - some which are paragraph headings, with bold, and some which are numbered paragraphs with text e.g

I created subdocuments from an existing document by using the Heading 1 style and the Create Subdocuments icon on the Outlining toolbar. Word dutifully split the existing document into subdocuments and inserted a continuous page break between each new subdocument. So far, so good.
