I want to write a macro to allow users to remove the first section of a
document (a drafting sheet).  Any tips on the best way to do this to
retain the headers/footers on the sections which are left - and also is
there a way of 'instructing' Word to remove a particular section ...

I'm preparing a template for a report that our company puts out on the
regular. As it's just a template there are a ton of headings with no actual

The company that I work for would like to edit the default styles in
Word.  I am aware that you can not delete the following default styles:
*    Normal
*    Heading 1

I am creating a manual in Word 2003. The material has been created as
separate Word and Excel documents.  This includes text, spreadsheets, forms.
They must be put together as one document and then a PDF must be created
from it.  Most of the documents are Word with some spreadsheets ...

I've formatted an image and assigned an autotext entry.  I can insert
the autotext through the AutoText toolbar.  I cannot get the entry to
work, however.  The entry is "sigAH".  When I type "sigAH" in a new
document, the image-autotext does not appear.  What to do?

I have put together a master document with a number of sub documents and
would like to now have the final document saved as a single file without
having to reference to the seperate sub docs and ensure that numbering, TOC,
references, etc, are intact.

    Good answers.  
    In making a "form template" I don't want to set the size or
position of the tables.  Perhaps I wasn't clear about what I'm hoping

Word 2003 seem to make new styles like "Normal + Verdana 15pt" even though
the AutoFormat As You Type function "Define styles based on your formatting"
is NOT checked.
