I want to write a macro to allow users to remove the first section of a document (a drafting sheet). Any tips on the best way to do this to retain the headers/footers on the sections which are left - and also is there a way of 'instructing' Word to remove a particular section ...

I've formatted an image and assigned an autotext entry. I can insert the autotext through the AutoText toolbar. I cannot get the entry to work, however. The entry is "sigAH". When I type "sigAH" in a new document, the image-autotext does not appear. What to do?

I have put together a master document with a number of sub documents and would like to now have the final document saved as a single file without having to reference to the seperate sub docs and ensure that numbering, TOC, references, etc, are intact.

Word 2003 seem to make new styles like "Normal + Verdana 15pt" even though the AutoFormat As You Type function "Define styles based on your formatting" is NOT checked. How do I avoid Word making new styles? The Styles and Formatting Task Pane
