I use mail merge in word 97 (no service pack). This mail merge use datasource from share server like \\serv1\share\test.xls. It work fine until i change servername from \\serv1 to \\serv2. When i open mail merge , it occure error that "Error! Not a valid filename.".

Is it possible to consume a webservice from within Word (2000 or XP) in order to perform a mail merge? The problem is: we are moving our Access database online, but we don't want to lose the mail merge functionality.
