I have created an excell spreadsheet with 181 entries in it. When I look at the sheet on the mailmerge toolbar, it sees all 181 entries....the problem is that when I merge, I only get 172 labels?!? No dups, what's with this?

I recently upgraded to XP operating system and Office XP. Using WORD I used to be able to access the data form to edit data, from the document. It seemed self contained although the data could interface with EXCEL.

When I click on tools, the drop down menu shows multiple listings of the "Mail Merge" option, literally 20, but this is a feature I have not used (to my knowledge). I believe that these are somehow being created every time

I have a mail merge that is pulling information from an Excel spreadsheet. The Excel column that is a date (MMM, DD, YYYY) merges into Word as MM/DD/YYYY. I cannot find a way to change it from the numeric date to the text date.
