Under my Tools drop down, there are about 25 mail merges listed there. I have no idea why but can't figure out how to delete them. I have to scroll down through them to get to envelopes/labels.

I'm having trouble merging formatted data from excel into a word field. The data being pulled is numeric and should include a comma however, after the merge the result is a four digit number with no comma separation.

The mac version of word contains a field code called Placeholder, but as far as I can see this does not exist in the windows version (checked 97 through to XP). Does anyone know the windows equivalent?
