I have written a automated mailmerge letter and would like
to delete a line after a mail merge item (autmoatically).
I am producing a number of mail merge documents and
therefore cannot do the gap myself.

Is there a way to make sections or even whole pages of a
Word Document to appear or disappear based on criteria of
a field from a Mail Merge?
And if so, will Word automaticly move the paragraphs or

I open WordXP an JUST look at a file. I do not make any
changes to the file. But when I close the file I am asked
Do I want to save changes? Also If I create a new document
the font size is set for 125% not 100%.Why is this? Thanks

Does anyone know why suddenly the length of merge fields
in Word 2000 and Word XP have become truncated? For

I have a client who has an Access database with 190
fields per record, the first 15 fields are patient
personal info and the remaing 175 are psychiatric testing
variables.  He prepares a 29 page report from this.

I've been reading and reading about how to format data with switches and I can't seem to make it happen.  Does anybody have any good ideas about how to make my currency fields in Excel show up as Dollars in my merged letter?  this is driving me crazy.....my word 98 just does it!  ...

For years I used address data in a Word table to create
mailing labels with Windows95 and Windows98.  It was easy
and worked beautifully.  Now, since upgrading to Windows
XP, I find this no longer works.  Instead I'm directed to

Ih have a strange problem.
In a .dat file I have several strange characters (like ö, à etc) When
I am using mail merge these strange characters are not merged ok. Is

When I merge from a query, a memo field prints the text
OK for 3 lines then a series of question marks is
