I have Word and Outlook 2002 and in the process of trying
to create labels, after I have select my contact/personal
folders and before the mail merge screen, the procees is
interupted by a Data Link Property Box that prevents me

 I'm using MS Word 2000 and trying to Mail merge a document with a
tab-delimited text file. The master document consists of a big table and
nested tables inside. There are only 4 fields inserted in the document and
it is one page long.

I have been trying to create mailing labels in word 02
using my outlook 02 data and been unsuccessful in using
the mail merge process.  Dell's software support now

I merge from an EXCEL list regularly. After awhile
(believe it or not it works for a few times) Mailmerge
insists on treating the ZIP codes as numbers and supresses
leading 0's.

I'm using Word 2000. I must be doing something wrong but I've no idea what.
I have some non-brand labels so I have set up a custom label for them. I
carefully measured all the dimensions (which I have checked several times).
For your info the dimensions are:

When setting up mail merge envelopes, everything is fine except placement of the address block.  I get the name in the correct place, but the address (line 2 and 3) is over at the far left.  What am I doing wrong?

I have merged a number of labels in office xp and it was
fine.

the fields all merge and look good on the screen.

I'm on Word 2000.  When I click on the Tool Bar, I get a
seemingly endless stream of "mailmerge" listing (as shown
below0 making it difficult to access various Toolbar
functions such as "Customizations" and "Options".  Does
