I am trying to merge an excel spread sheet into a word
document for a letter I am sending out.  In the zip code
field it converts my canada zip codes into 0's.  Any have
any idea why?

Does anyone know if there is a way to get Word 2002 to
spell check text fields in a form.  It doesn't do it even
if I unprotect the form and run a spell check.

I am converting normal mailmerge .doc files to document template .dot files.
I have been opening them and then saving them as a document template.  The
only difference I can see is the .dot extension.  Would it be the same thing
just to change the file extension with a rename *.doc ...

locations of the word doc and the xl spreadsheet will
always remain the same, their actual locations may change

file. I want to print only a range for example 1-5 of 100
merged documents. Word prints all 100 files. If I ask to

When I open the data source (Excel spreadsheet) to do a
mail-merge, all the formatting is changed - decimal places
range from 0 to 5, dollar signs are dropped and date
format is changed.
