I am using Word 2003 and would like to know, by using the "insert merge fields" button (on Mail Merge ToolBar) how can I leave the dialog box open whilst putting in a space on the document... then come back to the dialog box and select another field and so on Or is there a better ...

I am making envelopes via a mail merge with Word 2000 and the data is stored in Access 2000. Some names have a prefix before them but if there is no prefix ie Mr., a blank space is left before the name. How do I get the program not to leave a blank space?

How do I get rid of a page when I am merging labels. I have to manually remove names and rearrange my labels and this will leave me with an extra page after I am done. Is there any way to remove/delete this page?

Probably a basic problem but I am stuck. I have Windows XP,Word 2002 and Outlook 2002. I follow the merge wizard instructions to the letter and start in either Outlook or Word, but although the mail list is recognised, all ticked, address format chosen, no address are finally shown ...

Is it possible to compare two fields in a data source, and based on that comparison, enter a specific block of text. I realise that it has to do with the IF THEN ELSE merge field but I can't seem to get it to work correctly.
