I want to set up a labels with the mergefields separated by tabs, but when I hit the tab key, it jumps to the next cell. Any way around this?

The problem is that in print preview I am able to see all the records that came out of the merge

I remember reading somewhere in Word 2003, that if the NAME etc in a DATA file was blank you can set an option to replace that blank field to read "Dear Sir or Madam".  Can anyone help with this annoying thing!  Thanks
