Has anyone ever successfully merged data to a 2 column table where the data is displayed down cells in the columns instead of across? If so can you please tell me how to do this? I am using Word 2002. Thanks!

I'm merging from Excel into Word. The Excel spreadsheet has alot of formulas and I have formatted all of the cells. When I merge it, it destroys all of the formats and if the formula does not come out with an even number
