I am trying to merge social security numbers into a Word 2002 document from an Excel spreadsheet. I can't get them to look like social security numbers. Any ideas?

Is there a way to save each record as a seperate document? Say I have 100 records in the mail merge and would like to save each as a seperate document. I can do it the long way but there has to be a simple way of doing it.

When I click the Tools button the drop menu shows multiple (more than 20) Mail Merge selections. Only one has a right arrow for an additional drop menu. What are the other Mail Merge selections and how do I get rid of them? They clutter up the drop menu.

I inserted the document Title (from File>Properties) field into the first page of a document. I then include the title in the header on subsequent pages. If I modify the title field value, type CTRL A to select all, then F9
