How can I send out a mailmerge with an attachment?

the createdate field?  I checked the knowledgebase and
couldn't find anything on it.
I have several forms templates that use a "createdate"

I'm working in a document using the "Page X of XX" field
group in the footer.  Problem is that the page # field is
not updating, and remains at zero.  I've tried all the

I have a number in Excel that is rounded to 2 decimal places and I am trying to Mail Merge that number into a Word Document. The Word document is displaying more decimal places of percision than I want (about 10). I am not able to get the field to round the value either

Is it possible with word 2k and newer to look at an xml document on a
webserver and to then mail merge the contents of this xml ( or even text
file).

In older versions of word, I would use mail merge to drop
data from a spreadsheet into a sql script.  In the newer
versions, it is geared for actual address and letters.  
Any way to do a mail merge for regular text?
