With windows xp pro sp-1, office xp sp-2
I have a formerly working mail merge ap that uses an excel source, for
merging to email as attachment.  the link is set up properly, querying
works properly, but on merge I get an error msg:

Have gone through all the proper steps for mail merge for
labels however the zip codes that begin with 0 do not
print. What am I doing wrong or what step am I missing?

Using word2002. When opening a merge document with a .dbf
table , I get a message "opening this document will run
the following sql command: data from your database will
be placed in the document.do you want to continue?"

only form?  Data source is not read-only (txt file), but
end users continue to save modified merged file over

Anyone know how I can get access to the From field with
Merge to Email?  The email address that should be used as
the "from address" is stored in the database where the
records to be merged are stored because each "from email"

I've been creating Labels in Word 2002 from mailing lists
in Excel 2002. Some of the data in the "Zip Code" column in
Excel is 5 digits (e.g. 92714) while others are 5 digits +

I am useing MSOffice 2003 on WinXP. In Word, when I
use "Insert/Field" menu, select SET from "Field Names",
press "Field Codes" botton and type for example "SET t

The "Mail Merge" command in the Tools Menu does NOT appear
at all!
The document is NOT "protected"  so that's not it.

I am sitting in front of a system where I cannot see the contents and
structure of a macro that provides me with a list of mailmerge variables.So
I cannot change it and I cannot see or directly read from its datasource.

Everything is fine except that currency amounts appear as 76.5 instead of
76.50. How can I correct this?
