Is there any way to insert a text form field in a text box? I know that I can manually enter a field (ctrl + f9) named formtext (or whatever it is), but this doesn't do any good since I can't set the properties (I get an error

I am trying to merge data from an excel file into a word document but the data is getting altered in the process. So for example 23.05 in the excel file wil show up as 23.0499999999 in the word document after merging.
