I have WindosXP and OfficeXP and have updated Wordprogram from 2K to 2K2. In mailmerge I then got problem using checkboxes. In Word 2000 I used [IF [Mergefield YesNo] ="-1" "x" "o"] to print out a marked checkbox but that is not a solution in Word 2002.

When trying to run a mailmerge from Access 2003 I keep getting "Unable to open datasource" error. This used to work for me in pervious versions of Office, but now there seems to be some kind of locking mechanism that prevents Word from accessing the database.
