I wish to sent a Form Letter, which has been setup with Mail Merge Fields,  
to my clients by Email, and have ther First Name automatically insterted in
the Subject Line.

I want to use a variable as the path for a file with a
bookmark I want to use in a merge document.
The following works ok

Currently our mail merge from Access2000 reads in the
document say whereas fields 1 & 3 are Prefix Mr, Mrs etc,
and fields 2 & 4 are last name.

When I perform a mail merge from an excel data set, all information comes
over fine with the exception of numbers.  Numbers that include decimals,
even though they show up as two decimal in the excel spread sheet are
carried out almost 10 places.  How do I correct this?

I have just upgraded to Office 2003.
I am now having difficulty mailmerging from word 2003 using Outlook 2000
contacts given that i have to use Outlook express as my default mail client
for Virgin.net.

I've done several mailmerges, but now, regardless of the
computer I'm on, I can't get Word to create more than the
first page of labels from a data source.
I've tried from the Word wizard to grab the data source

Depending on whether a variable length field (1 to 6 characters) contains the
letter L, I want to be able to insert different text. I tried:

In our mailmerge, we have several currency amounts tied to a user, all in an
Excel spreadsheet.  When we merge the Word and Excel data, the currency
formatting is lost.  So I used the Dynamic Data Exchange method, and I tried
the format field codes methods, but they didn't quite ...

Hello!  I have set up a letter to merge with an MS Access
database.  Two of the fields in access are formatted as
currency.  When I merge into Word, those two fields show
up in the letter as regular numbers, I lose the currency

Access database on H:\DATA\MAILOUTS
The server we were using was resumed for other purposes and a new server
with greater capacity was mapped as H: and all the data transferred to the

all --  of my zip codes start with a first character of "0".  When I merge
them into labels in Word, the "0" is no longer visible.  How can I correct
