My source spreadsheet has several columns of data that

When I try to connect to an ODBC data source to do a Word merge I get an
error.  It is often "Record 1 contains too few data fields" popping up
several times, although the error varries depending on how I try to connect.
This is using Office XP, Office 2000 works fine.

I am using office 2002 and I am having difficulty with mail merge my data
base is okay and I check that the fields are all correct, but when I merge
the fields: City, County and Post Code all come out on one line.

Addresses can have different numbers of lines.  In a mail merge how can I
ensure that the letter text does not move when there are fewer address lines.
(Will make folding much simpler.)  For information the mail merge is using
ACT! version 6 and Word 2003.

ACCESS Database. I am guessing it is an incompatible problem but I just
