I am printing labels with Mail Merge. Some of my names have 2 address lines & some only have 1. How can you condense the labels with only 1 line so it doesn't print the blank line?

I am merging data from EXCEL into word to print labels. I have separate fields for City, State, & Zip. On some of the labels they are printing fine, but on some labels it prints city with several spaces before the ,ST & Zip.

I am having an issue that whenever I print my merged envelopes, the are oriented the wrong way on the envelope (90 degrees off). There is no way to manipulate the way the envelope feeds, so how I guess do I rotate all of the records to be printed on envelopes?

When I do Sections.First.Range.Copy and then do a paste into a new document, I get an extra page at the end of the new document. The template has two pages, the merged document has two pages, but the new document gets three pages. I also noticed that it has two sections? I ...

Merge fields are printed instead of my data, I already had the field code cleared. so it is not that. I use the wizard to make the datebase so that should be ok. Now what do I do??? Can anyone help? Mergeless

i just need some clarification, to update fields in a main document, I need to select the information i need to update and press f9, If i'm in a sub document i need to select the information i want to update and pres ctrl+shift f9. is this correct??

I have an excel spreadsheet that lists sessions attended by indivuals. The column headers give the session name, a 1 indicates they attended and a 0 if they didn't. I need to merge this information into a certificate.

Currently using MS Office 2003. Mail merge is unable to recognise a data consisting of both numbers and alphabets, from MS Excel worksheet. Eg. 1. Suppose to be ...\14A\... or just only the serial number '11A', turns out to be blank or 0.

I ran a merge to printer in Word 2003 and Word 97. The time it took fo Word 2003 to complete the merge was about 20 minutes slower than Wor 97. Does anyone know why this is true and how can I make Word 200 merge faster
