I have and Access 2003 (saved as Access 2000 format) database using Word 2003
to do a simple mail merge.  I get a message that says it couldn't open the
document.  When I try to manually do the merge, and test the connection, I

I have a mailmerge setup in order to merge Purchase Orders.
In Word 2000 the merge used to work fine....however now using 2003 when I go

I am using the mail merge function to merge a large amount of data from an
Excel 2003 spreadsheet into a Word 2003 document.
It appears as though any Excel field which exceeds 255 characters gets cut
off at exactly the 255 character limit mark in the merging process.
