I have a client who likes to merge a works database into word. I am told that the process was once easy, but now whenever we select the works database to merge, the text encoding window appears with a lot of non - text characters.

I am trying to create labels from an excel spreadsheet containing names and addresses. I use the mail merge wizard in word. I should end up with 3 and a half sheets of labels (30 labels to a sheet). Instead, I'm ending up with 125 as it is putting one record on each page!

I keep going around in circles on this one and would appreciate any help. I am merging from an access data base. I have several fields that need to be formatted as currency. I have no problem getting a '$' as I can do that as standard text...the problem is comma's.
