While doing mail merge of a form letter, the number of pages in the footer
continued for the number of pages in the document instead of starting over
for each document. The page number restarted.

My os was recently update to XP and I was able to fix most of my
'recent/resultant' mail merge problems by turning on tools>options>confirm
conversions at Open.   I greatly prefer the DDE connection because it allows
me to have both files open and workable at the same time.

I'll start off saying I  have never had anything but problem with Word 2002
mail merge using my Outlook 2002 contact list.
For awhile, it has been quasi working - at least I was able to select names
from my contact folder and insert them into my mailmerge document.  Now,

Our academic software has a program that allows us to run letters using a
macro program (WINTEG.WORD) between the software and Word. One of the
problems is that the leading "0" is lost during the process. Have visited

I created a mail merge in Word with some pretty complicated word fields in
addition to the merge fields.  
In the data source I have four sets of fields with the same type of info
that are numbered.

When I merge a doucument from Excel 2002 into Word 2003, the field containing
currency (in the format £22.22) loses its last zero after merging. If the
original in Excel was £23.40 it becomes £23.4. However if it was £23.42 then

I've got an excel file that has time in it formatted to hh:mm AM.  When I
merge that field into Word, it adds the seconds.  Any way to stop this?  I've
tried different ways of formatting the mergefield in Word but that's not

letter is printed, then the 2nd envelope and then the second letter, the 3rd
