I've been doing mail merge for over 25 years.  I understand using Excel as a
secondary file.
We've had nothing but problems since upgrading to 2003.  The sql feature, of
word changing the formatting of how time and dates from excel to the merged

When automating the merge of a doc via VS.NET, I am loosing the data
connection with in the doc and thus getting erroneous results.  Has anyone
seen this behavior or know where to point me?

We are getting errors when we try to do a mail merge in Word 2003 SP1
with an ASCII file generated in a custom database.

I am using Office 2003 - when I merge with an Excel database, and then go to
the Mail Merge Recipients to edit it, the Edit button is greyed out.  Am I
missing something?

I have a word document with a link to a ms access table, but every time I
enter the document gives a message that says if I want to open the sql
command.
How can I make that the message stops and don't show every time?
