 I'm new to Mailmerge. I've tried using an if. I don't know how to do
it correctly but I've tried to follow examples such as this that I got
off the newsgroups:

Does anyone know of a way to test data in a mergefield and prevent printing
the document if data matches the tested criteria. I have tried an if
statement with <<STOP>> as what to do if the  criteria are met but
unfortunately this doesn't work. Any ideas?

On newer versions of Microsoft Word, when I perform a mail merge from VB, no
Printer Dialog box appears.  I read that the newer versions of word just
print the document and don't display a Printer Dialog box.  Is this true?
If it is, can I get a Printer Dialog Box to appear?

I am running Word 2002 SP3.  I currently print our monthly invoices from a
"flat file" (unnormalized table) in MS Access.  It works great: one invoice
per record.
Now I want to show line items on my invoice.  I think I must somehow add a

merges up to now.  All of the sudden we're getting a error message that word
could not re-establish a dde connection with excel.

By merging numeric data (accounting formatted) from Excel into WORD trailing
zero's are not copied to word.
E.g. ? 5,00 becomes ? 5,  and  ? 5,20 becomes ? 5,2 in WORD.
Strangely enough this happens on my PC in the office. If I merge the same
