I've just created my first mail merge document in Word 2003 but when I merge and print, it prints one document perfectly (with all the data where it should be) and one document with no data filled in at all. Never had this problem with Word 97! Any suggestions?

I want to create a set of forms for say a divorce so that where I know, for instance, that the clients address shows up in several of the forms, I'd like to be able to type the address once and have it automatically show in all the places it is to show in all three of the forms.

Merge uses data from a rtf file. I need to be able to get code to extract data from one of the fields in the rtf file, which contains the path and file name to be used when saving the merge result. I do not want to have to hard-code this which is the easy solution.
