I am doing a mail merge and i have some fields that will be blank for some
records and i need Word to skip the blank fields. In word 2000 you can choose
the radio button "do not print blank lines" in the merge dialogue box but
with word 2003 no dialogue box appears, just links to ...

It's an excel spreadsheet.  The error message reads "Word was unable to find
the data source requested"

I am producing a marketing letter that will go to a range of organisations. I
have a field in the data table that identified the organisationtype and use
syntax similar to

when opening my main mail merge document, it keeps asking me for the data
source document.
