I am having a bit of difficulty in completing an order acknowledgement
from Word via Access
I not that profficient with MS Word so forgive if I am asking some

I am running Word 2002 out of Office XP.
I have worked through the article "Mail Merge to E-mail with Attachments"

and have been able to send e-mails with attachments

i am creating a word document based on an excel spreadsheet.  it appears that
some data fields (which are complete in excel) are truncated when they are
merged into the word document.  it seems to be a random occurance.  for
instance, it does not seem to be a factor of numbers of ...

and Office 2003
Need help attaching a file to an e-mail merge.  The same file is being send
to everyone in database.  My database is typed in Excel.

I want to send an email message (using MS Outlook) to multiple recipients and
hide their email addresses from each other.

I am making a mailing list for printing lables.
I want to know how to save this mail recipient list to file, CD, Floppy.
I don't want to have to retype the list.  I want to give it to the company I
am typing it for.

My company uses Windows 2000 and we just upgraded to Office 2003 Professional
from Office 2000.  The problem is this:
When users create and save a mail merge, then create another mail merge
using the same Excel data source file (revised), the info in the mail merge

How can I set up a mailmerge doc that uses both a data source and a header
source?  We could do this under Word 2000 but can't seem to find the option
in Word 2003!

I want to do a one-time (no update) MailMerge, into the existing document.
The permanent "locking" almost works with
Set myFields = ActiveDocument.Fields    ' or ActiveDocument.MailMerge.Fields
?!?

The number of merge fields seems to vary.  I need five merge fields, and
sometimes only 3 are available.  If I go to a different excel document to
import, there may or may not be five fields available.  How do I set word so
that I have more merge fields available all the time.

I have seen the threads on the subject of repeating labels, but G Mayor's
website didn't help my situation.  I am using a text box for my shipping
address mail merge section so that it will hopefully fix my problem of the
margins moving up per label.  However, I get the repeating ...

When merging phone numbers from an excel spread sheet into a word document
the phone number becomes one long number rather then the formatted number it
had been in excel.  The numbers are formatted in excel by highlighting the
column, chosing format/cell/special/phone number.  ...

Following message appears when trying to open the data source: Word could not
re-establish a DDE connection to Microsoft Excel to complete the current task.
Anyone know how to make the mail merge work even though this message is
occurring.

I am hoping someone can tell me how I can do this.  Monthly, I update our
mailing labels with additions and changes from a database.  Each has a unique
number.  When I add in new names, they always end up in the wrong location
for their unique number.  Is there a way to sort them ...
