The reason I did that is because without it, I get an extra hard return
before my data result and if I delete the hard return, the data result
is deleted as well.

I am trying to merge from Excel into Word.  One of the columns contains date
format data which is generated by a forumal.  The same column also contains
some records which return "N/A" and is in text format, manually imputted.

I have a .csv file that I use as my datasource for my MailMerge.  We recently
got upgraded from Word '97 to 2000.  In my text file I have a date fields
i.e.....
01-01-2005.  When I merge my text file in Word it puts a datestamp on this

I am using the 'if.. then ...else' to put values into the word letter. Works
fine when the value is there, but it also puts the value in when the
condition is not true??

I'm trying to do a mailmerge from within Word (from Outlook isn't an open as
we use a document management system).

I have a Word VB script and template .doc file that works fine
with Word 97 & Word 2000, but not with Word 2003. I am running Windows
XP SP1. Word 2003 is version 11.6359.6408 SP1

When i call the merge the datasource is not pulling up.  This worked fine in
2002 and previous versions of Word and Access.  Now it wants me to map the
