After my mail merge, can I (instead of opening a new word document), open a template (that has nothing but code in it?) so that all users will have access to the code contained in this template, instead of having to know their template paths or using an addin?

Can I automate Header Mail Merge using VB6 in office XP? I updated user from Word2000 to WordXP and now the page header shows the mailmerge fieldname instead of the data. <<MailMergeFieldName>> But the page number is still working.

I am trying to merge labels from an existing list. It won't let me get past Step 3 or 6 to merge. I use Miscrosoft Word 2003. Anyone else have this trouble. It will let me set up the labels, but won't actually merge the addresses into the labels.

When I merge my database into a word file, dates change from dd/mm/yy to mm/dd/yy and number have an extra 7 decimal places to what is in the data base - please help!

We are trying to run a mail merge where we only want it to go to the next record if the ID number on the next record is DIFFERENT from the ID number on the current record. If the ID numbers are the same, we want to continue on the same document.

I know that using a text file as a data source, I can exceed the 255 field limit for a mail merge data source. I would like to know though what is the limit with a text file? Thanks

I've got an Excel 2003 spreadsheet with some data formatted to 1 decimal place, e.g. 10.5 I've also got a Word 2003 mail merge document which used the 1 dp formatted data in that spreadsheet.

i have a database in access 2002 with 10 tables and 7 queries. when i try to mail merge it with word, only 5 tables and 4 queries are visible. the rest of them just aren't there. i have no idea what to do...any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
