Doug was VERY helpful and provided me with a macro that would run from the merged document and print each record as a separate job. The problem I ran into was that the template itself actually contains 3 sections per record. So the macro;

I have a database on Lotus and want to merge phone numbers. The phone numbers in the database are 10 digits (XXXXXXXXXX) and I want to merge them so that it shows up (XXX) XXX-XXXX, with parenthasis and a dash. Is this possible?

I have a five-page Word document which I need to email to 2,000 clients. I need to insert merge fields on each page. Can Word cope with 10,000 pages in one document or should I merge in batches? Thanks

With Word 2000 when you opened a mail merge document, the data source file (Excel) would open too and you could modify it and it would be available immediately in the main document. With the Word 2003 you don't have acess to the data source (Excel) when you open the main document ...
