When performing a mail merge from excel to Word (office XP) the currency fields are merged incorrectly. No dollar sign appears. Is there an update for this or do I have to use a numeric picture switch which is quite confusing as is explained? in article ID 304387

I would like to control mailmerge by code. Addresses are in an xl file. I recorded the whole process with the macro recorder. However, when I run the macro, I do get the four letters (4 addresses selected in the sql statement)

I use an Excel datasource to merge into word mailing labels. During merge, it prompts for "Entire spreadsheet". Can we suppress this promt. I have only one sheet in the excel datasource. Another problem is that after the merge is done, and when I scroll forward

I am doing a mail merge for labels. At the moment I do a text file with a wlist of numbers in one or two columns. I then use these in some fields on labels. But can I ditch the data file and somehow use fields with calculations?

The new mail meger is absolutely mind-boggling. Printing labels is ten times more complicated and takes more time and the letter mail merge is needlessly complicated. The mail merge tool bar should come on automatically. ----------------

I read a similar post on this after doing a search, but admit the answer wasn't clear. The problem: when I do a mail merge into Word from an Excel file, the ZIP field imports with a decimal place and zero afterward (ie: 77449.0).

Hi, is there anyway to keep the saluation line of my letter at a specific line no matter how long or short my address is? When I merge, depending on the address length, the saluation line moves in accordance. Grrrr, hope someone can help!
