I am using Mailmerge to print envelopes using an Outlook contact list.  
Everthing goes fine until the screen where you click the location and then
select the item that goes there.  Even though I click the center of the
envelope (and the cursor stays there), when I select Address ...

When I try to utilize mail merge I get a message "unable to open data base"
even though I have followed the instructions to the letter.  What am I

I created labels in word via mailmerge. the labels view fine...but this is

Using MS Word 2000, I need to format a 6-digit merge field as a date.  
I try: { MERGEFIELD Date1 \@ M/d/yy } where Date1 is the field name, but I
only get the six digits e.g. 102004 showing in my letter.  What am I missing?

I'm helping a friend print address labels from an Excel sheet as I'm
'supposed to know about computers' but I've never used mail merge before.

I am having difficulty keeping the alignment of a column in my merge from
excel into Word 2002.  The first page is ok.  It displays $0 in this
particular column.  My next letter has $156 in the same column and it moves
one tab to the left?  Once another $0 shows up it is ok, but ...

I am trying to merge some dates into a word document. Some of the dates are
in the format dd/mm/yyyy and some are in mmm-yy.  When merging into word, the
dates in the format dd/mm/yyyy appear as dates but the dates in the format
mmm-yy appears as a serial number.

When in Word, i click 'Print' to print a 2-page mail merge and the system
freezes up completely.
