When I am working in Word with Tools ->Letters & Mailings->Envelopes and
Labels and select "new document", previous versions of Word would show the
page with the label outlines (gray boxes) to show where the text was going to
be inserted.  For some reason I can not find a setting ...

We have just converted from WordPerfect to Word and I am trying to creat a
mail merge where I can pause to type information I need to and then
continue on with the mail merge.  I know Wordperct had this feature but I

In Word 2003, I am trying to convert a letter into a document that I can use
for a mail merge.  On the toolbar, the "insert Word field" button is active.  
However, the button to its left, the "insert merge fields" button is
greyed-out or inactive.

when setting up a merge, I have selected that all blank lines should not be
