I am trying to set up a Word Document with a label list. The merged fields will have data of varing lengths. I would like the data on each label to line up in columns. I need to fix the length of each merged field to show a max number of charcters. How can I do this?

I am exporting a birthday from my database into word to do a mail merge for a form. Is there any way Word can figure out a person's age as of the current day based upon the birthday field from the database to merge onto a form? Thanks!

I have a mergefield with numbers using the period character as a thousands separator (eg. the value "one thousand" is stored as "1.000"). Trying to make an IF statement, I get problems with Word understanding the value one thousand (1.000) as the number 1 (with 3 decimals):

Doing a mail merge, I am trying to use the IF-THEN function to conditionally add or remove a picture field. Nevertheless it seems that the IF-THEN function only works to add plain text. Is there another way to do this (VBA??)?

When using a Word 2003 merge form and merging data from Access 2003, why does the merge add decimal places to a number? For example: 2300.9 is in the Access table but in the Word form it is changed to 2300.89999.
