I am using Word 2003 to perform a mail merge from values on an Excel 2003 spreadsheet. For a specific Excel cell that has a value of $0, the merge is leaving this as a BLANK after the merge is complete. I would like it to show a $0.

The reason I ask is in Word 2000 it automatically brings the data up when the field is blank. I am sure there must be a way of setting this in Word 2003 but I cannot find it anywhere. I don't want to have to put in IF ASK etc everytime I merge?

tired to connect a document to an access database and the window only a shows the tables and one query (the 2 other database queries are not shown) so i can't connect the doc to the query it needs - is this a bug?
