I would like to create a word document which I can link to certain cells in an excel document. For example imagine I created an empty table in word. I would like to link some of the cells of this table to certain cells in an excel spreadsheet.

Rather than consolidating information into one data source, is it not possible to use multiple datas sources to pull information into your merged document?

This is very frustrating!. I am using Word 2003 on my pc and i can get the "mailmerge helper" button, to enable me to suppress blank lines. However.... when i try to find this button on other users pc's it is not there. Even when i go to add/remove buttons this button is not

I want to insert personal photographs onto a name label. I have saved the photograph link in an Access file with the persons name. I have tried a test in both Word and Publisher and neither one prints the photograph.

I'm trying to do set up a mailmerge, where I can insert text as an option and nest a Mergefield into the text. For example, if somebody booked a hotel, it should say "we reserved a <single or double> room from <time frame> for you. Otherwise it's blank.

I am trying to merge staff records into a formatted directory. I can perfom the merge, but I cannot get the records to print continuously. It prints one record per page.

In Word (MS Office 2003) mailmerge creates a document for the header record which describes what fields are contained in each data record. I only want to create documents for each data record - how do I do this?

I use GoldMine's (CRM Software) link with Microsoft Word to merge documents. GoldMine uses DDE to feed data from its database to Word. Here's an example of a GoldMine DDE command that I can plug in to MS Word: {DDEAUTO GoldMine Data CONTACT2->UACCTMGR \*CHARFORMAT}.

When I go to merge information from a file in Excel (with three spreadsheets) it comes up as a blank sheet even though it is full of information. This makes it seem useless to have the Excel file if it won't merge into a document for my purposes.
