I have 150 pages in Word that I would like to sort based on client LAST NAME,
FIRST NAME.  Each page contains the client name and page of text specifcally
about the client which will need to be kept with the name during the alpha

I used a Excel file as mailmerge's data source.But the data,such as 2.4, in
excel, changed to a long format,such as 2.39999999, in word document. I
don't want these changes.Some suggestions?

I am using word mail merge with excel data. At the moment whenever I open the
word document, I am forced to select the data source and reset the
filter,sorting etc. My source data is always in 'USB Data stick' it might
change from document to documnet.
