Merge using MSAccess "Taking too Long" Message04 Dec 2005 11:55 GMT2
I have selected a database using Get Data Source.  I have selected "via DDE".
The database opens but I receive a message "The task is taking longer than
expected.  Do you want to continue waiting?".  I select Yes and I continue to
receive the message.

I am trying to print a change of address card on 5X3.5" notecard. I have set
it to landscape but keep getting message that text is outside margins.
Am I putting the cards in the printer in the wrong place.  I am using a HP

I have a mailmerge document that is pulling data from a spreadsheet, with a
certain number of lines that have the same reference number - I am creating a
statement to send out to clients, so each client may have only one line in
the spreadsheet or multiple.

I'm using Word 2002 as part of Works suite 2003. How can I get word to allow
me to use a Works database as a data source for mail merging? Each attempt
only further frustrates me when Word says it can't use a works databse for a
data source.

I am trying to merge about 278 addresses I have done it all correctly however
I can only see the first page of the document I have no idea where the
remainder has gone it appears that word seems to be merging them all???

I'd like to print only the first page of each section.
Is this possible without having to do p1s1, p1s2, p1s3, etc.?

I find that the 2003 version of doesn't read any access query that has 'like'

I am sending out a letter that contains information to users.  Problem
I am having is that some users have 3 or more records from access that
need to be displayed in one letter, while other users have only 1
record to display.  Right now I am getting 30 letters with some of the

I would like to print the entire data source as a list. I cannot figure out
how to do this. Any suggestions?
