Hi all,' When doing a mail merge in Word 2003, using an Excel 2003 Sheet, The format of the percent comes out as ".29999%", not 3.00% as I would like it. How can I get around this format issue?

I am trying to do a mail merge to create mailing labels. I can fill in the data forms without a problem but when it comes to saving the data file I just get an hourglass and it won't save it. I am using XP, does that make a difference. I have no other problems with Word.

I am using Access 2003 to open a Mail Merge document using the following VB code. The document uses a text file as the datasource. This worked in Access 2000, but the document will not open in Access 2003, word opens and the status bar displays "docname.doc: 1,222 characters..."
