I don't have much experience with mail merge in Word. What I want to do
is like a template for a Newsletter with some part to be constant
(header and some pictures from an URL), and the rest to be editable.

When I run my mail merge for a single record, I get no errors.  When I run
the mail merge with more than one record, I get a "Record contained too many
data fields" error.
Others' help with this question suggested "usually caused by a mismatch

I am merging from an Excel File into a Word Document.
Everything works except for a date field. I have it formatted as MM/DD/YY in
Excel but the merge displays it as YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS
What do I need to do to display MM/DD/YY in the merge?
