Im trying to use Word 2003 mailmerge to send HTML email, which fails. No messages sent and nothing in "Sent items" in Outlook 2003. I do not receive any errors. When I select "Plain text " or "Attachment" it does work properly.

How do i protect a mail merge document? For example i would like to send an email merge with the document attached but i do not want the recipients to be able to edit the text in the document.
