I've seen several posts on this subject, and I've read them, as well
as the help on the subject. I even gone to the MVP site and checked
for my issue, but can't seem to resolve it. I have a datasource that I

I am using the "Mail Merge to E-Mail with Attachments" macro witout success.  
The macro appears to run three times (the number of e-mail addresses I am
using to test), but the test e-mail accounts do not receive the message.  
Furthermore, I do NOT have messages in mu Outlook ...

Creating a directory of names, etc.  Everything works correctly except that I
can't seem to fnd a way to keep all of a record on the same page.   I.E., if
there isn't enough room on the current page I want WORD to skip to the next
page before starting the merge for that record.   ...

Can I use 2 different lists (exported from excel) in the same mail merge
document?  I so, how can I do it.

Hi - My mergefield returns a string whicih is a random number from 1 to a
million but with four characters at the end. Eg 12345.fed or 1.fed, etc. I'd
like to remove the .fed suffix and just display the numbered portion of the
mergefield.  Can i do this?

We have people using various versions of Word (XP, 2003, 2000). All use the
same database and templates for a mail merge done quarterly. Lately, the data
source has been disconnecting. We can reconnect, but if someone goes in again
later, it may or may not disconnect.

I've got Word 2002 SP3.  I'm doing a merge with the data coming from an
Excel spreadsheet.  When I get to step 3 of 6 and select my recipients, the
mail merge recipients selection box lists all my records from the Excel file
as expected but then it inserts A LOT of blank records. ...

When I merge the data in word doc I get the amount as 999.9900000000001
instead of 999.99 noting that in Excel the amount is correct 999.99 but when
it comes to word in the merging it get changed!  please advice

I am using Office 2003 under XP Professional. I use the following procedure
in Word:
1. From the menu bar I select Insert.Field
2. In the field window under field names: I select Database and under field

Using WORD and a template I built, I have an extra line when there is no data
for Address_Line_2.  The code is as follows:
{IF {mergefield Address_Line_2}<>"" "{mergefield Address_Line_2}" "")
The help information does not provide anything that I could find on this.

When merging to a new document I receive a message that  Word found locked
fields during the update...Word cannot update locked fields.  To my knowledge
I did not lock any fields.  What am I doing wrong?  How can I rectify this
problem?

I've been searching for hours and can't figure this out!
I need to layout two unique 4x6 postcards on an 8.5x11 sheet with different
text on the backside. Side 1 has a return address and the recipient address.

Created a merge doc in word 2003 no problems.  Same doc must also be used w/
