Creating a directory of names, etc. Everything works correctly except that I can't seem to fnd a way to keep all of a record on the same page. I.E., if there isn't enough room on the current page I want WORD to skip to the next page before starting the merge for that record. ...

Hi - My mergefield returns a string whicih is a random number from 1 to a million but with four characters at the end. Eg 12345.fed or 1.fed, etc. I'd like to remove the .fed suffix and just display the numbered portion of the mergefield. Can i do this?

We have people using various versions of Word (XP, 2003, 2000). All use the same database and templates for a mail merge done quarterly. Lately, the data source has been disconnecting. We can reconnect, but if someone goes in again later, it may or may not disconnect.

When I merge the data in word doc I get the amount as 999.9900000000001 instead of 999.99 noting that in Excel the amount is correct 999.99 but when it comes to word in the merging it get changed! please advice
