I have just converted to Office 2003. Today when merging some forms,
which I have done for over a year without any problems, I encountered
to messages which I have never seen before. I opened the template,
found my data source (an Excel file), and performed the merge. I merged

I wish to assign a field to a document variable and then "massage" the
variable in VBA. That way the massaged variable can be inserted into
