range of merge fields?03 Nov 2006 06:18 GMT5
I'm pretty sure the answer is already no, but I thought I'd ask...
I have logic to insert into a REALLY big merge. A particular indicator
may appear in one of ten fields that would mean a mismatch in the type
of letter being sent (we're accounting for the chance of human error).
Using Mail Merge to import Excel data to Word for printing checks03 Nov 2006 06:10 GMT2
I want to print checks from Word but all the check data I need

Two main stumbling blocks - how do I transfer this Excel data into

somehow managed to disable to 'edit' button, so i'm presuming i've pressed
something i shouldn't have and locked the database. The database linked to
mail merge is access 2003. Any clue to what i have done ...

I have a minolta 75 ppm machine with a folding finisher on it.  I have
created a word document and an excel spreadsheet to do a mail merge mailing.
I want to do a half fold on legal paper.  The machine will accomplish this
task when printed without the mail merge component.  As ...
Using form fields in a footer03 Nov 2006 04:17 GMT4
First, I apologize if I’m in the wrong group.  This seemed the closest to
what I need to know.
I’m a high school special education teacher in New Mexico (yes, we’re part
of the US <grin>) and I’m trying to automate the IEP documentation we have to
Date calculation - for a NON-genius02 Nov 2006 12:45 GMT3
How do I insert a field that gives me "2007" in a letter.

which I do not have
More than one formatting switch for a merge field02 Nov 2006 11:18 GMT6
Can I use more than one switch for a merge field, and if so, is there a
proper order I must use?  Currently I'm trying to use the  \# and \b
switches.  It's showing the \b text, but not formatting the numbers when I
merge.

on all eight labels on the page.  The two records that ...

merged labels - how do you save the merged document for use later01 Nov 2006 20:05 GMT1
I am sure this is a simple problem to solve.  A user is making labels in Word
with source from excel which is about four pages long.  Once the merged
document is complete, he wants to save it as a document that he can make
changes later but keep it in label format.  He used the ...
