i work for a ocmpany and have our contacts in the "Public Files" in outlook. Can i use these contacts from there without copying and pasting them into my contacts folder each time before i mail merge in word? Thanks

It is my understanding that inserting the Next Record If statement in a mail merge would allow me to only merge records that meet the criteia I set . I do not seem to be able to make this work. (Next Record If = Chicago should only return records with Chicago in the city field)

Does anyone know what the maximum charactor limits to a field from a mail merge is in Word. I have several fields I am bring into Word from Excel 03 and they exceed 2000 charactors. If so is their a work around to this charactor limit?
