I couldn't set my Word page setup in 32x39 cm with this margins:

well before completing my mail merge process ,i at first set the pageno
option through header & footer, but to my surprise after completion of my my
mail merge process i found that though in the status bar total no of pages is
being displayed but again the same no of pagei.e ...

When your mail merge data source is "Outlook Contacts" how can you choose
the "Category" field, as your merge criteria?
My 600 Outlook contacts are all categorized.  But as far as I can see, there
is no way in Word to perform a Outlook contacts merge with the condition

I'm merging with an SQL table, which includes a date column.
And I need to merge the records for a specific day only.
The date column is formatted as '2007-12-31' (yyyy-mm-dd) and includes a

When I mail merge zip code to my word documents leading zeros are dropped.
Eg: 07866 becomes 7866. How do I get Word to display the zero?

We do merge in Word through a batch job.  This is fine unless there is
an error, for example one of the records in the data file is
incomplete.  Then the merge hangs.  If such a merge were run online

After I have merged to a new document, is it possible to save each letter in
the file as a separate file so that I can store them in the appropriate
client folder?  I know I could copy and paste but that seems to be a very
clunky way to do it.

This is a similar question to the one posted by Macy in 2005 except that only
one field is being truncated.

and it works but it sends only the attachment in the third column
(attachment2) while the attachment1 no.

I built a custom sized page with text boxes for information.
Basically it's a template for printing addresses on specific parts of
a postcard.  Three of the text boxes have common information, but the
fourth will hold the recipient addresses.  I start the mail merge in
