does anyone have an answer for me? My computer crashed and i had only printed
a portion of my merged document ( total 3,000 letters!) and i want to
continue to print from where the printing left off.  When I go to print and I
put in the sections--it "goes to the printer" but ...

The business I work for has recently upgraded from Windows 2000 to XP and
Office 2000 to 2003. All the mail merge documents we have were created using
Office 2000.
Since the upgrade we are having major problems as follows:

I am using an existing Microsoft Excel 2003 speadsheet to create a mail merge
in Word. In the Address Block and Greeting Line, there are several spaces
between the First Name and Last Name of the recipients.  How can I correct

I have merged about 20 letters into a single document and saved it.  But, I
need to save each letter to the persons efile that belongs to them.  (ie:  
letter addressed to Jane Smith needs to be saved in Jane Smith's folder on my
C drive.)  Can you even do that?

How would I set options for the Find in Field tool in the Mail Merge toolbar.
Currently when I do a search for say "BPM 656" th e tool "finds" and
displays the first occurence of BPM.  I would prefer the tool button to

I am setting up a Word document to import A LOT of information from an Excel
spreadsheet.  Basically, the spreadsheet captures a couple hundred pieces of
