I have set up a datasource and mail merge, however the datasource contains
several records for 1 person as they may have done several courses.  When I
do my merge I want to insert the persons name (we have a unique field
username) and then in another area all of the courses they ...

Select Mail merge - Mailing Label - Open Data Source - "Select any access DB"
and then the app freezes and the status bar displays "Waiting for MS Access
to accept DDE Commands".
Does anyone have a recommendations.

Most probably this has a simple solution, but at the moment I cannot seem to

create labels using an existing form in a document.  She is able to print the
document without any problems using the Mail Merge Wizard.  The problem crops
up when the Label option is used.  Word crashes ...

I've completed mail merge labels, and noticed that there is an extra space
at the beginning of the last line, which contains the phone numbers. How do I
get rid of it without having to go through each label and deleting the space?

when I do a mail merge spaces are sometimes added.
ie  Mr. Jones  Mr.  Adams  one space sometimes and sometimes 2 spaces are
added instead.
When I manually try to remove it, when I print it, it reverts to two spaces

We do quite a bit of mailmerging here with CSV files that are concocted by a
database system. These are ornery CSV files and Winword (2003) mailmerges
them OK.

I have connected a Word merge document to an SQL View successfully.
I would like to be able to filter the merged data by a Date column (e.g.
Dates between or dates greater than or dates less than). However none of the
filter 'Comparision' options under 'advanced' within the Mail ...

The old version of mail merge allowed me to suppress black lines on address
labels. I can't find anywhere in the new version that allows that capability.
Anyone know how to do it or if it can be done?

I ssend an email merge document successfully using an excel data source, but
when I try to send the same doc to a different excel list, I get an "unable
to open data source" error message.

I've gone crazy deleting second pages from first page mail merge...since
first page has to be printed on letterhead and second page of course on
second page letterhead...HOW DO I PRINT ALL FIRST PAGES FIRST (on company
letterhead) AND THEN ALL THE REST OF THE PAGES after???  i've ...
