Select Mail merge - Mailing Label - Open Data Source - "Select any access DB" and then the app freezes and the status bar displays "Waiting for MS Access to accept DDE Commands". Does anyone have a recommendations.

when I do a mail merge spaces are sometimes added. ie Mr. Jones Mr. Adams one space sometimes and sometimes 2 spaces are added instead. When I manually try to remove it, when I print it, it reverts to two spaces

Hiya ... We do quite a bit of mailmerging here with CSV files that are concocted by a database system. These are ornery CSV files and Winword (2003) mailmerges them OK.

The old version of mail merge allowed me to suppress black lines on address labels. I can't find anywhere in the new version that allows that capability. Anyone know how to do it or if it can be done?

I ssend an email merge document successfully using an excel data source, but when I try to send the same doc to a different excel list, I get an "unable to open data source" error message. I have search many "tips" but only get fixes/workarounds for Access & Word
