*** Newbie Alert ***  (Felt I should warn you)
I have an application (off the shelf, not my own) that writes reports
to MS Word by outputting information into a Mail Merge Source and
having a DOT template pick up the fields for the report.

The Mail Merge toolbar is visible above my template but unusable because it
is grayed out.  This has not happened before.

I have a large excel database that merges into a word doc so that each record
creates two pages to print (broken into 1 section for each two page record).
I can merge to a new doc and view the pages of each section without issue but
when asking to print specific records (i.e. ...

I need to  save a merged document as merged. When I open it again I do not
want the data to change and if I say not to merge I only get one record. If I
update I get the new data I've place in the linked database.

I have a list of divisions that have vehicles assigned in each division. I
need to create a mail merge in Word 2003 that creates a single document per
division with a listing of each vehicle in the division. The number of
vehicles changes based on the division.

send a merge e-mail via word office 2003 with an attachment. Via an excel
file I have the e-mail addresses so that everybody recieves a personal

Can anyone help?  I am performing a Word mailmerge from a source that
cannot be amended.  The dates in the source are stored in ddmmyy
format, i.e. 08082007 for today's date.  I need to display the dates
as dd MMMM yyyy format, i.e. 08 August 2007.  Does anyone now I can do
