mailmerge skipping records...everything looks right05 Nov 2007 20:52 GMT1
I've looked at all the responses to others that have had similar problems and
I still can't figure out why this is happening to me.
I'm trying to merge into labels that are set up 8 to a page. It's merging
the first 8 records then skips to the last. I do not have a "next record"

I'm trying to mailmerge an excel 2007 data source which has about 400

I hope you can help me with this one.  I have a dataset of records (.csv

TermYear is Spring, merge to Spring letter, otherwise ...
Mailmerge loses electronic signature02 Nov 2007 17:52 GMT3
Ok, this is esoteric, at best.  I've been trying for three days to make a
two-page mail merge for a letter to 600+ people.  The first time I merged it,
it was fine, all but the part where I neglected to properly account for
recipients who had no name, just a corporation.  ...
editing feilds02 Nov 2007 06:47 GMT13
I recently learned (very happily, I might add) to edit a mail merge field to
include text before or after that field.  Another fabulous feature is that
the text will not appear if there is no data in the datasource for that
particular record.  This is a very cool feature.  ...
Check for Errors Button02 Nov 2007 03:46 GMT1
Curious....whenever I do a check for errors before a merge, I never get any
errors.  What kinds of errors would I see if I got one?  Exactly what kind of
errors is it searching for?

I am working on a simple mail merge from data I typed in a table. The data

using the matching fields, first for the address block and ...
Mailmerge in 200301 Nov 2007 20:44 GMT3
Is it not possible to use a custom layout when using mailmerge for creating
labels?  You select the layout, yet it doesn't come across after you
propogate the labels?
This worked just fine before I upgraded to office 2003.
Mail Merge Error01 Nov 2007 07:54 GMT3
[I posted this under my other posting, but felt I should give own subject, so
if answered under other, no need to duplicate, thanks]
I exported my Entourage Address Book to a CSV file. When I do a data merge,
it comes up with an error that says: "Record 16 does not have the same ...
